My Hero

Do you ever have one of those days where you just feel BLAH? I don't even know how it happened or when. I helped out a friend yesterday morning who had to go on bed-rest (she's expecting and the baby wants to come a little too early). She has a little girl who's close to Connor's age, so we played with her all morning and then put her down for her nap and then came home for Connor's nap. The next thing I knew Connor was awake from his nap and I had a headache and just wanted to take a long nap myself. I called my sweet husband at work to see if there was any hope he'd be coming home early that day and no such luck! So, I toughed the rest of the day out and luckily Connor was a great help and played really well. When Mac came home he layed me on our couch in front of one of my favorite shows, Jon & Kate plus 8, put a blanket over me and our electric heater by my feet. Then asked what I'd like for dinner and made me the most delicious grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup I've ever had! That's seriously what I was hungry for. Ahhh....once my hero came home and I had a little food in me my headache was gone and once again Mac came to my rescue! Thanks hon!*

Bliss

What a fun and wonderful holiday we had! Over the past couple of weeks we enjoyed hanging out with family in Talmage Utah!! Uncle Darrin and Auntie Em were back from Texas for a couple of weeks and we loved having them home! As you can see, so did Connor. It was so nice to have all the brothers and sister-in-laws all together for the holidays. Much to my liking we spent most days in our PJ's, playing cards, games, and thanks to Darrin, the Wii!! Connor got a few sledding rides in...lots of helicopter rides...and we even made a Ginger Bread House thanks to Hannah and Jonathan (great gift idea!). As always we ate way too much food...thanks to mama Dian and loved every minute of it! We hope over this coming year we'll get to see more of my side of the family and make some trips up north!
