Connor feeding John

Our Easter Weekend!

For Easter weekend we went to Grandma and Grandpa Burton's farm! It was time to brand the new calves and give shots to all the cows.  Connor had a blast with his miniature whip and riding on the four wheeler with dad!  It was a good time spending time with the family...especially after we got the stink off of us!  Thanks Uncle Lynn and Aunt Cheryl for letting us come help!

Happy Anniversary!

Mac and I are celebrating our 3 year anniversary today!  I can't believe we're no longer newlyweds.  In our three years of being married we've lived in 3 places... Provo, Utah--Austin, Texas--and now Vernal, Utah!  It's been the best and most exciting 3 years of our lives!  We're also a family of 3 now...blessed parents of our little Connor boy.  I think 3 should be our lucky #.

On a side note, I have the coolest husband ever....Mac gave me "Twilight!"

Need some advice!!

Okay here is my dilemma.  We have 3 bedrooms in our house.  As of right now our spare bedroom is empty besides our card table which serves as our computer stand.  So, I've been saving up for furniture for our "guest bedroom."  Well now that it's time to buy it I'm having second thoughts.  Here they are...Connor will be growing out of his crib within the year and hopefully by then we'd have another addition to our family. I know I'm getting a little ahead of myself (no second child yet) but investing in the right kind of furniture and planning ahead is crucial especially when you don't have money just falling into your lap.  Would you put a toddler bed in with the nursery or should we give him his own room and just not have a guest bedroom?  One more thought on the issue....I could buy a platform bed for Connor instead of a toddler bed which could serve as a guest bed when we have visitors and then just have Connor in the nursery for that time.  Because really 99% of the time we don't have visitors sleeping over.  But that 1% of the time it'd be nice to have a comfortable bed for them to sleep on.   Ahhh...people have told me it'd be too hard with nap times and bedtimes to try and put two young kids together.  What do you think?  All you moms who have experience!  And even those who aren't parents yet!  Sometimes you just need a little advice from someone outside looking in to the problem.
