imac

We have turned over a new leaf! We have been lifetime PC users, but no more.  After having our laptop crash we bought a brand new hp computer with Windows Vista that gave me headache after headache within the first month!  While visiting my brother and best friend on our last vacation we were convinced to give apple a try.  After playing around for a while on their computers, I was totally convinced it would be worth the investment.  After all they cost twice as much as a PC, but after all our troubles I wanted a computer to last!  It's so easy to use and there are so many cool components to it that make putting newsletters, scrapbook pages, slideshows, baby books, baby growth/milestone charts together in a sinch!  No regrets here!

Aquarium Humidifier

I absolutely love this thing!  My friend, Shauna, has one for her little girl.  We looked all over the internet a few months ago, so I could get one for Connor and no luck.  Wednesday night Shauna called me from Walmart and said, "You'll never guess what I just found!"  Yes--our humidifier/aquarium.  She bought the last 3 because they're just that cool.  On top of being a humidifier, it also makes a bubbling sound in the aquarium (a great noise maker for light sleepers!)  I no longer have to tip-toe around my house for 3 hours so Connor will sleep through his nap!  It's great!  Connor loves looking at his new fish too!  So, for those of you who just can't live without it too the full name is Ultrasonic Aquarium Humidifier.

Portland Zoo!

Can Mac's face get any cheesier??

Connor loved loved this Hippo!

The forecast for this day was cloudy and rainy...the 1 1/2 hrs we were at the zoo was awesome weather!  Lucky us!

Seattle cont'd

Hannah and I in front of Pike's Market!
The second day we were with Hannah and Jonathan-Connor had a little spill on the corner of their coffee table.  This was his first real bruiser of his life and I'm sure not the last.
Kisses for Auntie Hannah!

We had a wonderful time visiting Hannah and her husband, Jonathan for a couple of days!  Thank you for your most excellent hospitality!

Seattle!

Connor and Auntie Hannah!

After driving from Steele's house, the first place we stopped with Hannah was this really fun park!  Connor loved all the huge leaves!

Finally...

We're finally back online!  After a couple of weeks without a computer, we love our new imac! Last week we went and visited my brother, Steele, and his wife, Tamara in LaCenter, WA.  Portland was about 30 mins south of us, so we spent most of our time in Oregon.  Connor loved their dogs!!  They have 3 Ridgebacks that were almost bigger than Connor, definitely heavier.  Really sweet dogs!  We enjoyed gourmet dinners every night made by Steele, shopping in Portland and the outlets, the zoo, and walks with the dogs!  Mac and I both had never seen Connor so happy...dogs to play with, a new house to explore, and tons of attention!

Denver!

We took Connor to the Children's Museum in downtown Denver and he loved it! He loved the fire truck and this life size manequin fire fighter.
Connor and I on the chalk cow outside!

I think we can safely say Connor won't be the next Van Gogh...he did not like getting his hands messy!

Connor had fun with the garden!

This is at the Denver Nuggets vs. Boston Celtics game! Was it a good game??? Oh, we wouldn't know that because Connor didn't feel like sitting in our laps that night. We watched the 2nd half back in our hotel room! That's okay though, what did we expect from an 18 mo! He's such a good little guy and always keeps us on our toes!
