I feel like there is so much to talk about with Connor...this past year we started a music program called, "Let's Play Music." It's a group class that teaches kids starting at age 4 or 5 basic music skills....singing, note recognition, rhythms, scales, all in a really fun way. Connor really enjoyed the class and performed in the end of the year recital.
Connor finished his 3rd season of soccer this Spring (no pictures) and has just started his first season of coach pitched baseball. I was able to make it to his first game and it was so cute and funny to watch. Connor is the youngest on his team, most are 6 already and going into First Grade, but he holds his own and is still among the tallest on his team. I think he's really going to love it!
Connor loves crafts or as he'd call it "projects." He definitely has his daddy's mind (an engineer's mind). He's always trying to figure out how to make something...a kite, a garbage picker upper (our term), books, cards, and as of recently he's helped his dad make a lacrosse stick and a bow and arrow.
In April we headed to Talmage to help out with cows and Connor absolutely loves it!
Connor has become a very good beginning reader...we have 3 volumes of the BOB books and he can read most with only a little bit of help. Mac and Connor finished two of the Magical Treehouse books and I think reading comprehension is not quite there yet, but I know he enjoys the one on one time before bed with his daddy. Our next book I think we'll try is Charlotte's Web. Connor is such a fun boy and we love how excited he is about life and how much spunk he brings to our family!
