Need some advice!!

Okay here is my dilemma.  We have 3 bedrooms in our house.  As of right now our spare bedroom is empty besides our card table which serves as our computer stand.  So, I've been saving up for furniture for our "guest bedroom."  Well now that it's time to buy it I'm having second thoughts.  Here they are...Connor will be growing out of his crib within the year and hopefully by then we'd have another addition to our family. I know I'm getting a little ahead of myself (no second child yet) but investing in the right kind of furniture and planning ahead is crucial especially when you don't have money just falling into your lap.  Would you put a toddler bed in with the nursery or should we give him his own room and just not have a guest bedroom?  One more thought on the issue....I could buy a platform bed for Connor instead of a toddler bed which could serve as a guest bed when we have visitors and then just have Connor in the nursery for that time.  Because really 99% of the time we don't have visitors sleeping over.  But that 1% of the time it'd be nice to have a comfortable bed for them to sleep on.   Ahhh...people have told me it'd be too hard with nap times and bedtimes to try and put two young kids together.  What do you think?  All you moms who have experience!  And even those who aren't parents yet!  Sometimes you just need a little advice from someone outside looking in to the problem.

Well here's what we did and the pros and cons of it...
We are using our third bedroom as an office-there's room for a blow-up mattress but that's it. So we bought Tayvin a queen sized bed. When we have guests, they use his bed and he either gets to have a sleepover with Grandma & Grandpa or with mommy and daddy in his sleeping bag. The only real down has been that it's a big bed for a toddler and most of the time he wants his mommy taking up some of the space. I of course could say more but this is already a long comment so I hope it helps! Call us next time you'll be in SL and have time to visit-we'll have to have you over for dinner! Good Luck!

Starr what we have is Cayden and Cassidy share a room and there is a Full mattress in there that Cayden sleeps on. Cassidy use to sleep on it when Cayden was born. So we have a bed for people to sleep on but the kids sleep on it the 99% of the time.
We just make sure we have it very protected with waterproof mats.
